ENGLISH III – (1 credit; one year) 11 (NCAA Core)
The course will present the chronological development of American literature from the Native American period to the Contemporaries. Short stories, poetry, essays, and novels in fiction and nonfiction will be studied. Discussion will follow each reading. This course will be writing intensive with a variety of writing assignments utilizing research and/or analytical thought.
