About us
Malli Vidhyalaya High School, Jayam Nagar, Perungudi is a Tamil Nadu Government approved school established in the year 2008 in Jayam Nagar in Perungudi, Madurai. The school has been providing high school eductaion to students from Kaithari Nagar, Sambakkulam, Parambupatti, Om Shakthi Nagar and Perungudi.
The school believes that every child has the potential to perform and the way to bring out the potential is to motivate the child through positive encouragement. Malli Vidhyalaya keep the class strength low to enable teachers to pay full and invidual attention to each and every Children.
Children are given constant encouragements on a day to day basis and awarded with achievement pin every month based on their performance of previous month in areas like Overall Performance, Timeliness, Cleanliness, Service, Friendliness and Responsible. Besides they are also provided with a grade of their overall performance in this area during every assessment period.
The school focuses on Holistic development of the student by focusing on the following three areas:
Academic
The school not only focuses on the academic syllabus as prescribed by the Government of TamilNadu but also uses various materials to enhance the understanding of the students. This is done by way of using Multimedia presentations, Playway method etc. Special attention is paid to improve the English language skills of the students. The school adopts a mandatory library session once a week to allow student to expose themselves to the habit of reading outside their academic course material. The school motivates all students to understand the core subjects viz reading, writing, speaking and mathematics and provides special focus on slow learners.
Values
The value system of our school is based on the programme on the Core Human Values outlined by UNESCO in their 2002 Sourcebook "Learning to Be – a Holistic and Integrated Approach to Values Education for Human Development". The following values are explained and practiced in the school to help the child develop their core value system and lay the foundation to bring out a model citizen in him.

The school adopts one value every month and adopts all modes of communication to educate and imbibe the value of the month by various methods like class room training, storytelling, display boards, chart/model work by students, quiz and contests that are relevant.
Life Skills
The school provides ample opportunities to help the student understand Life Skills that he/she already possesses and focus on areas to improve his skills. Various club activities, competitions, quiz conducted in school helps the child to develop and prepare him for the future. Every student is provided an opportunity to improve his communication skills.
