What You Will Learn in This Course
Concepts and principles of human relations in organizations, including application of motivational theory, group dynamics, managing change, leadership styles, training, and organizational development.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
Compare approaches to organizational behavior in the workplace.
Apply the manager's functions, leadership style, roles and skills to diverse situations.
Distinguish among appropriate motivational theories for management.
Manage organizational change using leadership and control functions.
The Student Learning Outcomes listed above are those required actions that a student who successfully completes the course must be able to perform or exhibit. Each student will be assessed by the successful completion of homework assignments and activities in the online course environment.

The e-textbook and training and assessment tools will be linked through our Canvas course. You will have access to a free trial and can purchase the e-book package via the Canvas course. If you are taking multiple classes using Cengage textbooks, you may want to consider purchasing Cengage Unlimited. You will need to purchase the subscription that includes the MindTap learning platform.
Access to a computer with an internet connection to use Canvas to access our web-based assignments.
