Sociology 25

This course explores historical and systemic (institutional) sex-and gender-based inequalities in the U.S. and abroad. Emphasis on differences between sex, gender, and sexual orientation/expression from multiple sociological perspectives, the contemporary status of American women, and the strategies, policies, and laws necessary to eliminate sexism.
