Hello Parents and Students! My name is Jessica Sexton and this year I am teaching
7th grade math. Over the years, I have taught a variety of middle school math and science classes between 5th through 8th grade. I have attended 5 different colleges over the years! I have an Associate's of Arts in General Studies, a Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education, and a Master's in Education Administration. I have earned highly qualified endorsements in both middle school science and middle school mathematics.
I love MTA and enjoy participating in our events. I coach the Varsity Cheerleading team, advise the yearbook club, attend many games and dances, and anything else I can get my hands on!
Although I don't have much spare time anymore, I love to read, watch movies with my husband, and play with our dogs: Charlie and Geo. I have always loved the theater and consider myself a true thespian. Whenever possible I drag my husband to play, musicals, and performances of all types. I also enjoy photography and love documenting important life events.
My husband Ryan and I got married October 22nd, 2011 in Fountain Hills, Arizona. We have known each other since high school. We have two girls, Lillian and Aubrey. They are such an adventure and definitely make life more fun!
We also enjoy traveling across the United States and the world. So far I have traveled to 5 different countries and 15 states.
