Objective:  Students will explore how mass affects the total energy of a substance.

Activities:  VIRTUAL LAB: In Hot Water Pages 21-24 Three-Dimensional Thinking Page 24. 

Homework:  Collect More Evidence "D" Page 9.


TUESDAY  09/23/25           Day  5

Objective:  Period 3: Students will teach a third grader about the Sun-Earth-Moon System.  Periods 4 and 7: Students will demonstrate understanding a physical science vocabulary.

Activities:  Period 3: Students will present their Sun, Earth, Moon System Project to a third grade student.  Periods 4 and 7: Students will complete the Language Building Activity for Physical Science Unit.

Homework:  No Homework


  Objective:   Students will review concepts taught in Lesson One: Particles in Motion.

Activities:  Summarize It: Page 24; Three-Dimensional Thinking Page 27; Real World Connections Page 28. Study Guide: Particles in Motion.

Homework:  Create Notecards/Study for Friday's Lesson Check: Particles in Motion.
