Objective:  Students will create neat and accurate  notecards using the Identify Properties of Materials Study Guide.

Activities:   Review study guide answers includng the essay question. Create neat and accurate notecards from study guide.  Brainpop: Properties of Matter.

Homework:  STUDY notecards for tomorrow's Online  Lesson Check: Identify Properties of Materials.


TUESDAY  01/13/26     Day 4

Objective:  Students will demonstrate understanding of the properties f matter.

Activities: ONLINE Lesson Check: Identify Properties of Materials; Brainpop: Properties of Matter: Movie, Vocab Builder,  and REVEW quiz.

Homework:  No Homework


  Objective:  Students will demonstrate prio knowledge about solids, liquids, and gasses.

Activities:  Lesson Two Launch: Mixtures and Solutions.  Science Probe: Page 19; Encounter the Phenomenon: Pages 20-21. Brainpop: Compunds and Mixtures.

 Homework:   Mixtures and Solutions Word Search


 Objective:  Students will investigate how temperature affects the ability of a solid to be mixed with a liquid. 

Activities: VIRTUAL LAB: Solubility Solutions: ONLINE video and Pages 22-23. 

Homework:  Mixtures and Solutions Worksheet.

 

Objective:   Students will observe various mixtures in order to determine if mass is conserved.

Activities:   ONLINE SIMULATION: Mixtures in Action.
