All About Me

I am so excited to begin my 26th year as a Madison teacher!

I have been teaching in the Madison School District since 2000. I currently hold a Masters' Degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. I began my career teaching ALL subjects in 4th Grade at Madison Simis, where my children Ali and Ryan also attended. I was then a Math and Science teacher at Madison Number One from the Fall of 2004 until Spring of 2016. 

I am very excited to once again be teaching 5th and 6th Grade Science at Madison Traditional Academy. It's such a wonderful opportunity to "loop" with the same students as they grow. I will also teach Computer Science (Coding) as my elective. Very happy the new science curriculum by McGraw Hill called "Inspire Science", aligns so well with our Arizona State Standards.  So looking forward to an amazing school year.
