My name is Annie Wilcox Panzer and I am excited to begin my eighth year of teaching, my fourth at Memorial. This year I will be teaching four sections of Earth science and one section of integrated science. I am a proud 2006 graduate of Madison Memorial, did my practicum teaching experience here with Mr. O and Mr. Spence, and am deeply invested in our community and success. This has been and will always be my home.
I graduated from UW-Madison in 2011 with a double major in broadfield science and earth/space science secondary science education. My primary focus was physical geography with an emphasis on fluvial geomorphology. I am a huge weather and geography geek and love learning about the Earth. I was fortunate enough to be a member of the UW Marching Band where I played trombone, met my husband (who also played trombone), and travelled with various athletic teams.
While not at school I enjoy watching the Badgers (I go to every home football game and have since 2001), being outside doing anything, and spending time with my husband and family. I am fortunate enough to still have all four of my grandparents and two of my husband's. We still play our trombones when we can and go to as many live music performances as possible. My husband and I have a great kitten named Cersei (Game of Thrones reference) and love entertaining her as well.
