Below you will find example experimental builds of basic eye-tracking experiments and simplified versions of experiments run in the iLab. Under each description of a study, there is a link to a zip file that can be downloaded in Google Drive that contains all materials for the experimental build.
All experimental builds were built using SR Research's Experiment Builder.
Flier Study
Participants view various fliers and answer questions about if they find the flier persuasive, engaging, etc. on a Likert scale. Eye movements are tracked while participants view the flier.
Features: Likert scale
Emotion Dilation
Pupil dilation is measured while participants view various images. This study explores how pupil dilation is associated with emotional arousal. This shortened version of the experimental build excludes the most emotionally salient images, which should be included to observe the full effect.
Features: Pupil dilation
Rayner Boundary Task
Participants read short sentences. When the participant fixates on a certain word in the sentence, a later string in the parafoveal field of vision changes. The letter string either changes directly to the target word, or first changes to a prime word. The prime words are either a homophone to the target or a few letters different from the target.
Features: Invisible boundaries
Viewing Art Study
Participants view various pieces of art with different prompts displayed above. Eye movements are tracked as participants view the pieces of art. Participants respond to prompts aloud to the experimenter.
Features: Scene perception
