Habits of Successful Students
Research has shown us that successful students have similar traits.

A few of those include ...
Eat breakfast. Your body needs some type of fuel to be productive.
Organize yourself. Whatever system works for you, use it. If you are unsure where to start, consider how notebooks and folders are organized. Use a planner or assignment notebook to help.
Prioritize tasks. Ask yourself: "What work is worth more points?" "What subject is harder and needs more of my energy?" (Do that before the easy subjects.)
Set goals. What do you want to accomplish? How can you accomplish them? Have specific steps that will lead to success.
Have a time and place for homework. When are you the most productive? Right after school? After dinner? Where are you most productive? At the kitchen table? In your room at the desk?
Have a balance of fun and work. Too much a one thing is not good. Keep everything in perspective.
If you are having trouble with organization, please stop by and ask me for some help. We are all more successful with supportive people around us!
Having difficulties concentrating on your work?
Try listening to music, but not just any music. These are instrumentals especially designed to help students with ADHD concentrate on their studies better.
