About Mrs. Bienvenu

My name is Nicole Bienvenu- as the students call me- Mrs. B. I have been working in first grade in Lunenburg for over 8 years now. I graduated from Fitchburg State College with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and then received my Master’s degree in Special Education.

I am married and have 2 beautiful daughters and a rambunctious black lab. The students love to hear about the adventures that Julianna, Ellie, and Ace experience during the school year. I am also very involved in my nephew and nieces’ lives. I realize the importance of family and enjoy spending time exploring and learning with them.

I have been teaching first grade for over 6 years. I love learning and exploring with my class every day. Each day is a wonderful and exciting new experience in 1B! It is wonderful to see the progress that all students make during the school year. I believe strongly in working together as a team and I use the Responsive Classroom model in 1B to promote life- long learners.

All students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun in our classroom. We explore and discover every day in the first grade. Students work together to learn in 1B. Students will grow together academically and socially.

I strongly believe in the home- school connection. We are partners in your child’s education. I always welcome questions and concerns throughout the school year and appreciate your support here in the classroom.

I look forward to a terrific year in 1B!!
