TEAM POLICIES

1. Parents, let the players play & the coaches coach. Enjoy your time as a supportive fan. Be Loud. Be Proud. Be Positive.

2. Absences from practice must be cleared with your coach prior to practice. (Remind messages or Email) “COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY!”

3. Unexcused absences from practice will result in a 1 game suspension. 3 unexcused absences from practice will result in discipline from the coaches.

4. In school or out of school suspensions will also lead to at least a 1 game suspension. A second suspension may lead to discipline from the coaches.

5. Academics come first. If a student fails 2 or more classes she will not be eligible to play in games until the grades are up. We expect our players to be respectful, and display a strong work ethic in the classroom. If you are having trouble in a class, personally notify a coach and attend study hall.

6. Be on time. Players should be warming up when practice is scheduled to begin. Unexcused lates to practices or games will result in loss of playing time. Please Pick up ON TIME 2 or more late pick-ups could result in dismissal from the team.

7. WE OVER ME ALWAYS! Place team goals ahead of jealousy and ego. Truly want the best for your teammates! (21 ways to be a great teammate)

8. If you do not participate in Physical Education class, you will not be able to participate in that day’s practice or game. Represent the program well in PE.

9. Players will travel to and from all away games on the team bus. In the event of a need to be driven home, a travel release form must be completed via google form on our athletics website (www.ltps.org/athletics) the day BEFORE the game.

10. Our players are expected to display good character and conduct themselves with class and good sportsmanship at all times. Athletes who do not conduct themselves in an appropriate manner, will not represent our team.

11. All LHS Athletics and School Policies will be followed.
