Personal Information
I was born and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri where I lived with my mom, dad, and twin sister. I played softball and basketball for 12 years, along with dancing for 10. During my school years I participated in volleyball, track, softball and basketball, along with many other activities. (Playing sports and being active has always been important to me.) I graduated from Blue Springs South High School and went on to college at Northwest Missouri State University. I currently reside in Lake Tapawingo.

Master's Degree in Secondary School Counseling - University of Central Missouri
Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education with a concentration in Family and Consumer Science and Mathematics - Northwest Missouri State University
Teaching and Counseling Experience
I have been in middle school education since 2007. I taught for seven years in Blue Springs, Missouri as a middle school FACS teacher. During that time, I also worked to complete my degree in counseling and did a semester of practicum and two semesters of internship working with students in a counseling capacity. I graduated in December of 2013 and joined Pleasant Lea Middle School in the fall of 2014. I love PLMS and working with your child as they explore their academic goals, social goals, and plan for their futures.
Hobbies and Interests
Spending time with family and friends, reading, running, being outside as much as possible, playing sports and cheering on the Tigers, Chiefs, and Royals
