2009

Season in Review

2009 was a year of turmoil. Strong disagreements with CHS administration resulted in the resignation of 2 LHSAA Halll of Fame coaches: Kirk Crochet, a long-time coach at Loreauville who had agreed to join the CroBear staff as an assistant, and the all-time winningest coach at CHS, Mac Barousse. Named as interim head coach beginning in the 4th week of the season, Jud Broussard did a remarkable job of stabilizing the program, going 3-3 after the team's 0-3 start.
