This web site was created by Joel Hilbun, CHS Football Statistician and Co-Director of the CHS Academy of Information Technology and by AOIT students in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 school years for the 2016 Celebration of 50 years of CroBear Football. Missing Information

Our web site is in a constant state of updating. There are several items that we would like to add to the web site that we are missing. If you can donate or lend us the following items, we will scan them and add them to this site: game programs before 1990, photos and scrapbooks, cans of old game film, CHS yearbooks before 1970, and the names of the Homecoming Queens before 1969. If you can assist us, please send an email to crobear50@gmail.com with CroBear Football 50th Anniversary in the subject line or leave a message at Carencro High School (521-7920) for Joel Hilbun. We will post more specific years of need on this page, so please check there before contacting us.

Carencro High School began its modern era of football in the 1966 football season. This site contains results of and information about the 546 games (plus some jamboree games) played in the 50 years of CroBear football from 1966 to 2015. It also contains PDF format copies of every existing newspaper report of each game, a total of over 1300 articles. A front page article in the September 2, 2016 edition of the Lafayette Advertiser on the project can be found here.

In addition, it contains:

the records of the 9 head coaches (and 2 interim head coaches) and a list of all opponents played and records against them in the 50 years of CroBear football
a list of every team the Bears have played and our record against them
a list of the Top 25 Victories in the history of CroBear football (1966-2015) for consideration and debate. Such a list is clearly subjective but is based on historical considerations (several firsts and mosts) but also significant and close wins in program history.
