This was the inaugural football season for the Carencro Bears, having prepared for this year by playing a JV schedule in the previous season. There is a blip in the newspaper record from the 50s that implies a football game that was could be an 8 man squad, but this year was the first varsity season played under the LHSAA. Going 6-4, it was a very good year for a first year squad.
