Non-student days & closures

The Wilder SACC program follows the School calendar for closures, including all holidays, winter break, and spring break.

We are open for non-students, meaning there is no school for kids, but teachers are here. On non-student days, care is available by signing up in advance, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that on non-student days, we open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm. Non-student days are $51.00 for all-day care and also include all activities and/or field trip fees.

Dear Parents of SACC Students,

We want to share some new information regarding weather delays, early dismissals, and closures. The safety of students and staff is the top priority of our School Age Child Care programs. With this in mind, we are updating our weather procedures.

As you know, LPS may have a one or two-hour morning delay if weather conditions necessitate a later start for the safety of students and staff. There may also be times when LPS cancels after-school activities or dismisses school early due to weather conditions. In the past, SACC has closed at the same time as school. We know this can be difficult for parents. To support parents, SACC will be open until 4:30 pm. Information regarding SACC and weather delays or closures is as follows:

One Hour Delayed Start

School Age Child Care will be on a 30-minute delay and open at 7:00 am.

Two-Hour Delayed Start

School Age Child Care will be on a 1-hour delay and open at 7:30 am.

After School Activities Cancellation Procedures

School Age Child Care programs will be open until 4:30 pm for those students already scheduled for the day. Late pick-up fees will accrue beginning at 4:30 pm.

Early Dismissal Procedures

School Age Child Care programs will be open until 4:30 pm for those students already scheduled for the day. Late pick-up fees will accrue beginning at 4:30 pm.

Early dismissal or full day of school closure does not result in a refund. Program costs continue on early dismissals and school closure days.
