Welcome 8^th grade girls interested in playing basketball!

To participate:

• All participants must pay a fee of $30 and fill out a PARTICIPATION FORM in order to participate.

• If you are unable to complete this or pay the fee of $30, please contact Meghan Gadell (mgadell@lps.k12.co.us) with any questions.

Transportation Information:

• All practices will be held after school - there is a late bus or a parent can pick you up at 5:00

• We will take the bus to away games and the game will start shortly after we arrive (usually about 4:30)

• Please have a ride home after both home and away games

Important Season Information:

• There will be THREE eligibility checks this year - we will be asking teachers to report on both grades and behavior.

• Students with one or more F/1 will be ineligible

• Students with multiple behavior referrals/detentions will be ineligible. Behavior is up to teacher discretion

• Students will be ineligible until the next check - checks will happen on 10/24, 11/15, 12/5

• You will be notified if your student is ineligible

• You must play in 4 of the 6 regular season games in order to play in the tournament - if you miss a game due to ineligibility it will count as a missed game

**All practices will be announced closer to season starting - they will be after school at Goddard from 4-5pm

All game start times are subject to bus arrival. The first game will typically start around 4:30.

Game: Wednesday 11/16 @ Newton

THANKSGIVING BREAK
