The 7th grade boys basketball teams are coached by Coach Lester and Coach Scott.  At the 7th grade level, GMS  plays against each LPS middle school once for a total of 3 games.  Players are placed on one of three teams (A, B, or C).  The goal for 7th grade basketball is to prepare student-athletes for success at the 8th grade basketball level, through building solid fundamental skills in addition to running an offense, defense, and inbound plays. 

Practices are generally held after school from 3:40-4:40 pm and games start at approximately 4:30 on game days.   The practice schedule will be posted the first week back at school after winter break.

Transportation Information: 

• All practices will be held after school - there is a late bus or a parent can pick you up at 4:40 pm.

• We will take the bus to away games and the game will start shortly after we arrive (usually about 4:30)

• Please have a ride home after the away games 

• Bring a yellow card and $25 activity fee to first practice
