Jazz band is a traditional jazz ensemble and the only instrumental ensemble at Goddard that requires an audition. Auditions take place in May for the following year and incoming 6th graders are eligible. Although listed as a club, only students who show a high level of proficiency on their instrument will be chosen for the group.
Schedule
Due to the current school schedule, Goddard's Jazz Band is currently on hold. Mr. Farrell will let our current members know when we will be able to begin rehearsal. Mr. Farrell is hopeful that we will be able to rehearse in the near future, but that decision is completely out of his hands, so check in with him periodically if you like, and Mr. Farrell will keep you updated.
