Highland Hotshots is a site-based child care program offered to our Highland community. We are licensed by the Colorado State Department of Human Services to accept children from grades K through 5, and operate under the supervision of the School Principal and the Program Manager. Highland Hotshots follows the school calendar and also offers a summer camp. Registration fee is $50.00 for school year and $50.00 for Summer Camp per child.

Before School: 6:30 a.m. – 7:35 a.m. $8.00 per session 2021-2022

Children are given the opportunity to socialize, play board games, do crafts, and play group games in the gym.

After School: 2:33 p.m. -6:00 p.m. $21.00 per session 2021-2022

Options include – homework club, quiet reading, computer lab, a craft, etc. Time will also be given for recess or gym (depending on weather). An afternoon snack is also provided.

PLC Wednesday Am's (Late Start): 6:30a.m.-8:35a.m.=$8.00 2021-2022

Early Dismissal 11:50 a.m.-6:00 p.m. $21.00 per session 2021-2022

Highland Hotshots offers care at these extended times. Special activities and special guests are often a part of these days.

Non-student days: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. $46.00 per day 2021-2022

Highland Hotshots offers a full day program on teacher in-service and conference days. A field trip is scheduled and the cost is included in the full day fee. An afternoon snack is also provided. Children are encouraged to bring a morning snack.

Summer camp: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. $46.00 per day Summer 2022

Highland Hotshots will be leaving the school premises on field trips. We will be visiting a variety of different places such as the zoo, museums, state parks, theaters, restaurants, recreation centers, etc. An afternoon snack is also provided. Children must have completed their Kindergarten year in order to attend summer camp.

* SUMMER CAMP 2022 REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1, 2022. SUMMER CAMP WILL BE AT TWAIN ELEMENTARY. PLEASE REGISTER UNDER TWAIN SUMMER CAMP 2022.

*FALL 2022 REGISTRATION FOR GUDY GASKILL WILL OPEN UP

JULY 1, 2022. REGISTER UNDER GUDY GASKILL ELEMENTARY.

All children MUST be registered with the program and all paperwork MUST be complete and turned in at least 24 hours in advance in order for children to attend Highland Hotshots.

Parents must reserve days for their children by 10 pm on Thursday for the following week. Tuition is based upon child's calendar. TUITION IS DUE WHEN YOU FILL OUT YOUR SCHEDULE. Days are not refundable or transferable.
