Dawn Wright-Program Manager- Bio: I started working for Littleton Public Schools in 1997. I have worked at Runyon, Whitman, and Franklin Elementary. I started working with children at the age of 15. I have been married since 1988 and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I love to scrapbook, camp, ride ATV's, and spend time with friends and family. I feel very blessed to be part of such an incredible school and staff and it is an honor to be in charge of the Highland Hotshot Child Care. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your precious children.

Julie Leffingwell-Assistant Program Manager- Bio: I joined LPS in 2000 at Ames Elementary as a Classroom Para and Library Clerk. In 2009, I went to Franklin Elementary. I currently work as a Para during the day. I am married and am the mother of 2 wonderful college age kids. I enjoy camping, hiking, and bike riding.

Dan Ogles-Activity Leader-Bio: I'm a 2017 graduate from Littleton High School as well as a 2010 graduate of Franklin Elementary. I went to University of Northern Colorado for one year under an fine visual Arts major. I am currently taking time off from school to work here at Highland Elementary and take care of my dog. I enjoy painting, camping, pottery and being outdoors.

Colleen Frasier-Activity Aide-Bio: I was born in Littleton, CO and currently live here. I have two older siblings. I am a Sophomore at Heritage High School. I I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy theater, art, jewelry making, tennis and baking. I am so happy to be an Activity Aide at Highland Hot Shots.

Timothy Hernandez-Activity leader -Bio: I began my career as an educator at Holy Name Child Care in Topeka, Kansas in August 1988. My positive experience there led me to change my planned major from Business/Accounting to Elementary Education. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Kansas. I returned to Colorado in August 1992 and began a now twenty-five plus years working for assorted organizations throughout the Denver Metro area. I currently work during the day at Cherry Creek Schools, where I am the Media Clerk. I give my time as often to organizations and causes I support, including Community Resources, Inc., which provides gift books to students at family reading nights across the Denver Metro area. My life's mission is to help children everywhere develop a love for books and a passion for reading. I am excited to be a part of the Highland community!

Amanda Hasting-Activity Leader-Bio: I was born and raised in Littleton, Co. and attended LPS schools and graduated from Littleton High School in 2002. I have an Associate Degree from Arapahoe Community College and a Bachelor's Degree from Metro State College of Denver. I have had the pleasure of working at Highland from 2013. I hope to have my very own classroom in the future. I am a very crafty and creative person who loves anything that sparkles and shimmers. I also love reading various types of books and writing my own stories. I am very happy to be a part of the Highland Hot Shots team.
