A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Welcome to the Music Room! This is my eighteenth year teaching music, and my sixteenth year here at Center School.  It is an absolute honor and a joy to share the magic of music-making with children every day! 

Before beginning my teaching career in elementary music, I earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from UMass Amherst, and a Master of Arts in Music Education from McGill University in Montreal. I play thirteen instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, violin, viola, cello, recorder, piano, guitar, and ukulele) and I can't wait to start learning a fourteenth instrument soon- the bagpipes! 

I live in Easthampton with my husband Jesse, our children Hazel and Kian, and our two dogs Tedy and Ellie. When I'm not at school I love reading, yoga, and playing outside.  My favorite muppets are Beeker, Gonzo, and Fozzy Bear.
