LONE STAR GATOR CLUB® SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Being a Gator alumni means having a chance to give back to our amazing community and helping others to have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to our #1 rated university!  It's a chance for these scholars to start their academic careers in the right direction.

With the help of our generous donors throughout the years, we have been able to award 68 scholarships to incredible Central Texas students headed to UF since our scholarship program began in 1997, and we hope we can count on you to pledge to support our students this season!

Meet our three recipients of the Lone Star Gator Club Scholarship for 2024-2025 academic year:

A NOTE FROM GRACEY:

"Hi, my name is Gracey Hamilton, and I’m incredibly honored to receive the LSGC scholarship! This fall I’ll be attending UF as a freshman majoring in business administration with plans to focus on real estate. I dipped my toe into the real estate field this past school year through an internship, and I believe I found my passion there. I’m thrilled to be headed to UF to further my education, meet all kinds of different people, and make new memories that will last a lifetime! Receiving this scholarship will help me pursue a variety of exciting opportunities at UF. I’m extremely grateful to the Lone Star Gator Club for this scholarship and can’t wait to start my new life at UF!" 

A NOTE FROM COOPER:

"Recently graduated from Liberty Hill High School, my upbringing has been dedicated to academics, athletics, work and family. Professionally, I am excited to continue to represent my family in the military and look forward to how the next 4 years at UF will prepare me to serve as a military officer." 

A NOTE FROM HALEY:

"Reigning trampoline competition champion. Avid chicken paprikash enthusiast. Local sunset chaser. Elegant diction and publication admirer.  Self-taught pianist. Out of all the descriptions that constitute me, one in particular given to me is forever unrivaled: a girl with vibrancy unparalleled. Hi! My name is Haley Judd and I am attending UF in the fall as a Pre-Professional Biology major on the pre-health track. I recently graduated from Vandegrift High School and I have been a part of the yearly Vandegrift Relay for Life Committee in the fundraiser for a cure for cancer and an organization I established in 2022 to raise money to fund housing for Ukrainian refugees throughout high school. I have also played volleyball since sixth grade and absolutely love spending time at Lake Austin!! I can’t wait to embark on this new stage of my life at my dream school, the University of Florida, and I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to gain invaluable experiences in my academic journey towards a career in medicine. The Lone Star Gator Club Scholarship is an incredible chance for me to fulfill the aspirations I have for contributing to a more radiant world and I am exceedingly grateful for this ability it will allow me to have. DONATE TO THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Pledge to support future Gators in one of these ways:

• Fixed Amount (donate a specific dollar amount)

• Pledge Per Point (pledge to donate an amount for every point the Gators score this football season)

• Donate a product or service for raffles or silent auctions

APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP

UF provides the club with a list of the admitted students every spring. Students who have enrolled for the upcoming school year are eligible to apply. 

This year, the Lone Star Gator Club® will provide $2000 scholarships to the selected winners.
