Without a doubt, the human paper model is going to be the biggest project you do in this class (...heck, it might even be the biggest project you complete in your high school career, for that matter!) While it may seem daunting, I'm confident that you'll learn a lot and have a ton of fun in the process...assuming you don't wait until the last minute to start working on it!For the most part, you (and your group) should be able to complete sections of your model as we discuss them in class. This will ensure that the material is fresh in your mind and will really help you complete your project most efficiently. However, since the final model is due before the end of the semester, you will also need to work ahead on several of the layers, completing them before we even get to the material in lecture. Have no worries...I'm sure you'll do amazingly well as long as you follow your rubric and do your research!
Best of luck!
As I mention in your Final Project Rubric, there are a ton or awesome resources that you can refer to while completing either of your final projects, such as:
Classroom Text: Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology
Human Anatomy (...the massive book in the back of my classroom next to the bookcase)
The Human Body Book (...this is mine, ask and you shall receive!)
Human Anatomy College Textbook
Human Transparency Binder (...on back shelf of classroom...do NOT take this out of the room please! )
Printable Transparencies (...you'll need to print these on transparency paper in the LMC...ask if you need help!)
Any other books on the bottom 2 shelves in the back of the classroom!
Tons of awesome websites...
