About Me

Hello!

My name is Talesha Roberts and this is my sixth year teaching here at LHS. I spent 6 years in Garland ISD teaching Speech Communication and coaching softball before deciding to come back to my alma mater. My courses this year include Read 180, System 44. Read 180 and System 44 are both Scholastic Reading programs that offer a variety or resources and research based strategies to help struggling readers, english language learners and dyslexic students. My husband is also a teacher/coach in the district and I have one 7 year old daughter, Tatum. I am excited to be here and to work with your son or daughter!!!
