Laura Allen Bio:
Laura Allen teaches Secondary Business and Technology and is the school's Technology Coordinator. She is originally from Lincoln, and moved away for the better part of a decade to pursue her first Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Laura worked for ten years in the commercial architecture field, before realizing she missed her family, back home in Montana. After two years of being home and working odds and ends jobs, Laura found her passion in teaching. She pursued her Secondary Business and Technology endorsement with a Class 5 license and learned the ropes as she taught. After finishing her second Bachelor’s degree, Laura decided to pursue her Master's degree in Educational Leadership to better understand the administrative side of the profession. In her spare time, Laura is the advisor for Business Professionals of America. She loves gardening, cooking, hiking, traveling and exploring the great outdoors with her two children. Joanie Templeton Bio:
Mrs. Templeton has been teaching with the Lincoln School District since 1999. She teaches first grade Language Arts, and Library for grades K-12. She is the advisor for both the Lincoln High School National Honor Society and the Class of 2022. She also enjoys being the assistant coach for the high school volleyball team. She graduated from high school in Lincoln in 1994. She received degrees in 1998 from the University of Montana- Western in Elementary Education (K-8) and Reading (K-12.) Nancy Schwalm Bio:
Nancy Schwalm (Ms. Nancy) began teaching in a classroom in 2018. Before that, she worked as a speech aide, coordinated conservation education programs for a nonprofit, and worked as a wildlife biologist, park ranger, and hunting access technician for the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, respectively. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management - Parks and Recreation from Slippery Rock University, a Master of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Secondary Science Education at Western Governors University. She loves learning new things, reading, camping, hunting, wildlife watching, antique furniture restoration, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She is married with two beautiful children, two dogs, six mules, 17 chickens, and two rabbits.
A native of Pennsylvania, she moved to Montana at the age of 22 to work as a law enforcement boat ranger in Glacier National Park’s Goat Haunt District. She moved to Lincoln in 2008, where she continues restoration on her barn-turned home. She loves the rural landscape, abundance of wildlife, and wonderful people here in Lincoln. What she loves most about being a teacher is the constant challenge and atmosphere of learning new things every single day. Sondra Grigsby Bio:
Ms. Grigsby attended Montana State University-Bozeman and Montana State University-Billings simultaneously. She majored in Elementary Education with a minor in k-12 Reading and PreK-12 Special Education and an option in Early Childhood Education. Her student teaching was completed in Edgecombe, New Zealand and Ennis, Montana. She has taught almost every grade from preschool to adult education. She currently teaches 7-12 Special Education/Title 1. She loves teaching and watching students grow in confidence.Ms. Grigsby has lived in Montana all her life. She plans on staying in Lincoln for the foreseeable future (even if her hands turn Blue!). Lincoln has been her home since 2003. She currently has 1 dog and 1 cat. Mo Mannix has the American Speech Language and Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence, 13 years with Great Divide Education Services Cooperative as itinerant speech language pathologist as well as former resource teacher, a Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from U of M with K-12 Special Education endorsement and secondary teaching certificate in Communications.She loves living on the Mannix Family ranch in Helmville with her husband, Randy. They have three grown sons, Neil, Joseph and Daniel. Her hobbies include: destination hikes, scrapbooking, summer cooking for the haying crews, sign language singing, and school trustee work.
