2023-2024 South Carolina Book Awards Nominees
Purpose of Awards
The purpose of the South Carolina Book Award Program is to encourage students to read quality contemporary literature and submit their vote to select the recipients of the annual awards. The book award medals will be awarded to the winning authors at the South Carolina Association of School Librarians annual conference in March 2024.
To be eligible to vote for your favorite book, you must read and write a review for at least five of the nominee titles from the Children's Book Award list or three of the nominee titles from the Junior Book Awards list. Voting will occur in February 2024. We will have a Book Award Literacy Celebration for all voting participants in March 2024 to announce the book award winners.
