Our Collection
We currently have over 8000 print titles in our library of which more than 3500 are nonfiction titles. Also, we have 83 digital eBook titles. Starting back during the fall of 2022, we will have subscriptions to 18 print magazines which are as follows:

Dr. Jeri Jeffcoat
Dr. Jeffcoat is a lifetime resident of Lexington County. She received a BFA in Fine Art at U.S.C. and worked as an artist for 10 years. She returned to USC in 2002 where she earned a Masters of Art in Teaching in Art Education. She taught middle and high school art for over 10 years before returning to USC where she earned a Masters of Library and Information Science. In May of 2023 she earned a Doctorate in Curriculum Design and Instruction with a focus in Educational Technology from the University of South Carolina. She has been the librarian at FMIS since August, 2018. She lives on a farm in Swansea with her husband, Joe Jeffcoat, and their beloved cats. Her hobbies are reading, making art, and traveling.
