Google Classroom will be a very important resource for you and your child throughout the year. In google classroom you will be able to access assignments and resources that will connect you to everything you will need for an assignment. This Goggle Classroom platform allows the you and your child to track due dates, track times and dates work is turned in, and it even allows the students to collaborate with each other on group assignments and for peer support.

For Language Arts, the Google Classroom assignments will be organized in weeks. (Example: Week of Sept. 6-10, Week of Sept. 13-17) Once the month is completed, all the weeks within that month will be put in a folder labeled for the on month. Combing the folders into months will prevent too many files open in the feed at once. At the end of the year there will be folders from September - June.
