JOINING MU ALPHA THETA

     ELIGIBILITY

• To be eligible, students must be enrolled in Algebra 2 or higher level math courses.  Semester averages in Algebra 1 and higher level math courses must be at least a 4.0 average (on the ABCDF grading scale this shall mean at least a B average in Pre-AP/AP Math courses or an A average in On-level Math courses, and on a 1-100 point scale this shall mean at least an 80 on AP Math courses, an 85 on Pre-AP/Advanced courses or a 90 in On-level Math courses).

     NEW MEMBER APPLICATION PROCESS 2025-2026

• Complete the New Member Application by September 30th, 2025, 11:59 p.m. 

    NEW MEMBER ACCEPTANCE PROCESS

• Letters of Acceptance will be emailed by the first week of October 2025 (most likely Oct 5th/6th). 

• Once accepted, there will be a new member induction meeting on October 13th 2025. (Information below)

      Induction Ceremony

• 10/13/25 during PIT in RM 1353.

You will receive a letter of acceptance through email that will be your ticket for participation. This is a fun celebration of your membership in Mu Alpha Theta! There will be food and drinks :)
