Hours

YEARLY HOURS REQUIREMENTS 

• All members, new and returning, are required to complete three (3) hours the first semester and four (4) hours second semester.

• All members are also required to attend at least two (2) meetings per semester!

HOURS (MORE INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED SHORTLY!)

• Turn in Mu Alpha Theta hours through the form posted on the Google Classroom.

• ALL members are required to submit hours.

    FIRST SEMESTER  Due Date: Friday, December 18, 2026

• Three (3) hours are required

    SECOND SEMESTER  Due Date: TBD

• Four (4) hours are required 

MATH HOURS

• You can only receive math hours for activities provided or approved by the Mu Alpha Theta officers.

  • Opportunities for math hours will be announced at meetings throughout the year.

  • Previous examples include peer tutoring, pi day, doing a math competition, any community service, etc.

  • If you are not sure if something counts as a math hour, reach out to an officer for approval.

  • Pictures are required as evidence.

  • Some activities serve for more than one point.
