Hours

YEARLY REQUIREMENTS 

• Existing members are required to complete three (3) hours per semester (see specifics below).

• New members are required to complete four (4) hours the second semester only (see specifics below).

HOURS

• Turn in Mu Alpha Theta hours through the form posted on the google classroom.

• ALL members are required to submit hours.

    FIRST SEMESTER  Due Date: Friday, December 19, 2025

• Three (3) hours are required:

           3 - Math hours

  (Tutoring hours have been combined with math hours) 

    SECOND SEMESTER  Due Date: Seniors: Friday, April 17, 2026 All Others: Monday, May 18, 2026

•  ALL members are required to submit hours.

• Four (4) hours are required 

MATH HOURS

• You can only receive math hours for activities provided or approved by the Mu Alpha Theta officers.

  • Opportunities for math hours will be announced at meetings throughout the year.

  • Previous examples include peer tutoring, pi day, doing a math competition, any community service, etc.

  • If you are not sure if something counts as a math hour, reach out to an officer for approval.

  • Pictures are required as evidence 

  • Some activities serve for more than one point.
