World History
Course Description:
World History is a full year course that explores the expansive history of the human world. Students will learn factual information but also the critical thinking and problem solving skills necessary to analyze historical events. Six themes will be used as a frame of reference for a chronological study of World History. This course will require students to read and analyze primary and secondary sources, use various resources to develop understanding of historical events, and construct written arguments of various length and form. The ultimate benefits of this class will be an informed view of how the world has developed up to the start of the third millennium CE, the stimulation of intellectual growth, and the acquisition of important historical critical thinking skills.

Retakes:
Daily Grades can be redone up to full credit until unit exam. After the unit assessment, students have ONE week to redo the assigned work for up to an 80.
Students can retake 1 major grades a six weeks. Students will have ONE week to attend tutorials and then retake the major grade. Students will be able to retake the major grade up to an 80.
