About Me

Welcome!  2025-26 is my 29th year in teaching and my first here at Cedar Park High School. I've been at Rouse in Leander ISD for the past 10 years, but am excited to now be a Timberwolf, especially since my son is a member of the Drumline here at CPHS!  I am a native Austinite, graduated from Bowie High in south Austin and then went to Baylor University to get my degree in education.  I started teaching in Mesquite ISD in the Dallas area and while there earned a master's degree in Teaching Mathematics at UTD. I came back home and taught in the area at Liberty Hill, Lake Travis, and in Leander ISD.  I have taught many levels of math at the secondary level,  coached Math UIL teams, and enjoyed the opportunity to be an AP Reader (grader) for the past three years.   When I'm not teaching, I love playing games, watching sports and game shows, spending time with my family, attending Hill Country Bible Church, and traveling when we get the chance.
