This fee can be paid online at the VRHS School Webstore. A link to the site will be provided during the first week of school.

The art room is an environment where students should feel free to explore and experiment. This can only happen when there is an atmosphere of respect and trust between all students. Should the student have difficulties in following school and class rules, disciplinary actions will be taken.
In order to guarantee your son/daughter and all other students the educational climate stated in the VRHS’s Mission Statement, all students will be held accountable to the discipline plan on the attached sheet as well as the Social Contract written by the students during the first week of school. Please discuss this letter and the attached class rules with your son/daughter. Also, please look over the safety pledge form with your son/daughter, sign and return it to me.
Self-discipline is key to the success of the creative atmosphere in the art classroom. This can only happen when there is a feeling of respect and trust between all students. Every student deserves a positive and safe learning environment to have the freedom to create and experience academic growth. Therefore, students will be involved in developing guidelines for appropriate behavior in the art room. Should students have difficulties in following school/class rules, disciplinary actions will be taken.
Students are responsible for in-class studio work, participation, preparation and clean-up.
Students are expected to be on time and prepared. Teachers have space in their classroom for art storage, so students rarely take home their supplies.
Students should be aware of deadlines and use their class time wisely so that those deadlines can be met. Students need to notify their teacher if they are having trouble meeting a deadline.
Students are expected to do their own work unless they are working on a group project.
