Week of 4/29 - 5/3/24

Big Ideas for the Week

I can learn from my mistakes, keep trying, and encourage others to do the same.

Take-Home Binders

Your child should bring home their 3-ring Take Home Binder every day and bring it back to school the next day. We recommend 15-20 minutes of reading a night, and the folder will contain a book and reading comprehension ideas.

Please do not remove the graded papers from the back of the folder. We will use those to keep track of our progress.

Class Roster

Signing up for our class roster is the ONLY way for parents and students to communicate with each other (invite friends for playdates, birthday parties, etc.), as school staff are not allowed to give out personal information. This is also how our class Room Rep will communicate with you for class parties, teacher's birthday information, school events, and other classroom volunteer opportunities that may arise. Please complete the following short questionnaire so you can stay in touch with others in our class!

Birthday Celebrations

If you wish to send a treat/item for your child to share with the class, please note the following:

Please send enough for all children to receive an individual item. We have 17 students in our class.

Any edible treats must be individually wrapped--this includes donuts and cookies.
