Megan cornelius

Mrs. Cornelius serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning for Louisa County Public Schools and is charged with overseeing the school division's Talented and Gifted program. 

Dr. Justin Grigg

Dr. Grigg serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction for Louisa County Public Schools.

ali hodell

Mrs. Hodell serves as the Gifted Instructional Specialist for Moss-Nuckols Elementary School.

Mrs. Hodell graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA with a Bachelors' of Science in Elementary Education. She earned her gifted endorsement from the University of Virginia (UVA) and has earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in gifted education from UVA. When not busy teaching, Mrs. Hodell enjoys spending time with her family.

chris hodell

Mr. Hodell serves as the Gifted Instructional Specialist for Trevilians Elementary School.

laura leiffer

Ms. Leiffer serves as the Gifted Instructional Specialist for Jouett Elementary School.

Ms. Leiffer graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors' of Science in Family and Child Development in conjunction with her NK-5 teaching certification.  Ms. Leiffer earned her endorsement in Gifted Education from UVA, but is a big Hokies fan!   Ms. Leiffer is a co-advisor for Technology Student Association at Louisa County High School and a Girl Scout leader.  When not in the classroom, Ms. Leiffer can be found outside (hopefully camping), reading a book, or coming up with new craft projects.

Sarah martin

Mrs. Martin serves as the Gifted Instructional Specialist for Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.

Mrs. Martin is an LCHS graduate and loves teaching in the county she went to school in. She attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania for undergrad, studying Elementary Education. She then attended Concordia University to earn her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Martin completed the coursework to earn her gifted endorsement from the University of Virginia. Mrs. Martin loves being a part of the Louisa community and enjoys spending time with her family when she is not in the classroom.

Ms. Ventre serves as the Gifted Instructional Coordinator for Louisa County Middle School.

David Hartman

Mr. Hartman serves as a Gifted Instructional Specialist for Louisa County Middle School.
