My teaching interests span inorganic chemistry, materials chemistry, and environmental chemistry. Courses I have taught (or am scheduled to teach) at the college are listed below. In the Spring of 2012, I taught a new non-majors course (“Technologies of the Future”) with biology Prof. Kellar Autumn.
From 2007 through 2017, I was a co-author of the college-level Chemistry in Context textbook, published by McGraw Hill and the American Chemical Society. I am particularly interested in the chemistry of ocean acidification and renewable energy. For more information about the textbook, click here.
