CTC - Course Description

Course Description: Cultures through Cuisine is a class based on the idea that we can learn significant amounts about various cultures and our selves by studying what people eat. Food is a powerful symbol of many cultural, geographic, economic, and political aspects of what makes one group different from another. By examining these differences I am hoping students find common ground between various groups.
