EXECUTIVE MINISTRY
The Executive Ministry consists of the Pastor, the Ministry of Deacons, the Ministry of Trustees, the Clerk, and the Treasurer. Three members-at-large are elected from the Church body annually.
The Executive Ministry have the responsibility of
considering all matters of importance before being presented to the general Church;
coordinating the activities of the Church, including long-range planning; and
undertake to strengthen the total work of the Church, its ministries, committees, and auxiliaries.
Pastor
The Pastor preaches the gospel, administer the ordinances, watch over the membership and have charge of the spiritual welfare of the congregation and the stated services of public worship.
In additional, the Pastor has supervisory authority over all paid and volunteer staff of the Church and is an ex-officio member of all ministries, committees, and auxiliaries of the Church.
Deacons
There is a Ministry of Deacons. They have been ordained to their work according to Acts 6:1-8 and 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Deacons assist the Pastor in leading the prayer meetings; visiting the members; and caring for the sick, the needy, and distressed members of the Church. They are responsible for:
promoting Christian spiritual growth, and the Church ministries, to the membership and community;
providing for the ordinances and aiding in their administration.
Trustees
There is a Ministry of Trustees consisting of five persons, one of which is the Church Treasurer.
This Ministry holds in trust, all property belonging to the Church and take necessary measures for its protection, management, and upkeep.
Clerk
The Clerk's duties are consistent with those of a Secretary, and further, the Clerk keep a record of the names and addresses of all members including dates and manner of admission and termination, a record of baptisms, and a list of those suspended, showing causes and date of suspension. The Clerk also notify officers, committee members, and delegates of their election and appointment; issue letters of dismission, termination, and recommendations adopted by the General Church; preserve, on file, all written reports; give legal notice of all meetings where such is required by the bylaws.
Treasurer
All checks and deposits are made in the name of the Church.
