Supplies

  • GRAPHING Spiral notebook. A dedicated math spiral notebook that contains quad ruled binder paper on which students will take class notes and do their assignments. An example of one found on amazon.com.

  • Pencils. Students should come to class prepared with at least two sharpened pencils.

  • Correcting pens. Any color other than black. These will be used to correct homework.

  • Scientific Calculator. A basic scientific calculator is sufficient like this TI-30 calculator. Extra calculators may not always be available in the classroom. A graphing calculator is NOT necessary (and much more expensive).

  • Dry Erase Marker. When working on whiteboards on class. A small towel, handkerchief, dryer sheet, or piece of felt from home can be used as an eraser.

  • Straight Edge or Ruler. Crucial for linear functions and graphing.
