Kristopher Asuncion is a Southern California native and who relocated to the Bay Area in 2011. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine. More recently, he earned his Master’s in Education with an emphasis in STEAM Education from the University of San Diego. Kris has been part of the LASD community since 2015 having taught both 7th and 8th grade levels of maths. “I love working with my LASD students; they are some of the brightest and hardworking students I have ever met.” When he’s not teaching, you may find him with friends at a Korean barbeque restaurant, visiting an art museum or UNESCO site, coaching wrestling, planning his next international vacation, or flying a kite.
