Placement assignments are out, and everyone is losing their minds! In 2 short weeks I'll be beginning my placement with a grade 2/3 split class in Midland at Mundy's Bay Public School. I never throught about having a split class for my first placement, but I am up for the challenge! I can't wait to begin actually working in a classroom, alongside a seasoned teacher. I'm looking forward to learning from my Associate Teacher (AT) to handle classroom management skills, and teaching to grades 2s and 3s simultaneously.
I plan to blog about placement as much as possible during the 5 weeks. The ups and downs that come along with a new chapter in a journey are the best kinds of things to blog about. Looking forward to using my blog to calm myself out of the struggles and hardships of placement.
