Outline Biography
Taghreed is an assistant professor of structural engineering in the Department of ِArchitecture Engineering, where she joined the work at Koya University since 2011. Before that, she was a lecturer at Al-Mustansiriya University, engineering college, civil department (2006-2011).
She gained a B.Sc. degree from Al-Technology University in 1993, an M.Sc. degree in Structural Engineering from Al-Technology University in 1997, and a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering from Al-Mustansiriya University in 2008.
She started her academic teaching in 2001 when she joined the work at Al-Anbar University as an Assistant Lecturer in the department of civil engineering.
Dr. Taghreed participated in five courses at the academic English language 9th- 20th September 2012, the training at tension and fatigue of Mechanical lab Faculty of Engineering, teacher training program 11th-15th November 2012, First Aids December 2014, Finite element analysis with program ANSYS, 13th April till 11th May 2015. She did a post-doctorate at ISISE, civil department, Engineering School, Minho University-Portugal for the academic year 2015-2016. She imparts at HEP-IREX small grant- Iraq for 2016.
