Outline Biography
Pshtiwan is the head of Petroleum Engineering Department, coordinator of Petroleum engineering department, where he joined the work at Koya University since October 2009. Pshtiwan has a good experience of research and teaching in Petroleum engineering fields. He found his initial inspiration in the research while he was doing his masters degree at the Department of Petroleum Engineering in The University of Teesside, UK under the title of MSc Petroleum Engineering 2012, which made him to gain an extensive skills of research in the latest techniques of underbalanced drilling topics. Pshtiwan achieved a distinction in his research project which was a unique novel approach and represented a breakthrough in Petroleum Engineering Science under the supervision of Professor Hussain Ahmed. Mr Jaf has gained his first degree in engineering from the College of Engineering, Koya University, entitled as BSc Petroleum Engineering, which involved studying various topics of Petroleum, Drilling Engineering, Reservoir Engineering and Production Engineering.
