Outline Biography

Dawa is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Architecture Engineering, where he started to work at Koya University since 2015. Before he became an Assistant Lecturer, he has been a demonstrator in the same department (2011-2013).

He gained a B.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering from Koya University in 2011, and Master of Architecture degree in Design from the University of Nottingham in 2014.

Mr. Dawa has been awarded with a HCDP (Human Capacity Development Program) Scholarship by the KRG-MHE (Kurdistan Regional Government - Ministry of Higher education), as he graduated ranking first on the department in 2011.

Moreover, he received Chair's Award Certificate for the SEEDS Conference 2015 in Leeds, United Kingdom. He participated in SET 2015 conference (14th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies) and got certificate in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Research Interests

Present research interests mainly focus on the architectural environment concerns, environmental design approach, environmental performance of building and related subjects of human comfort and behaviour.
