Kindergarten: "Oh the Places You'll Go!" Wall ArtThese kinder-gardeners are floating away to great places! Inspired by Dr. Seuss' book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go," these collaborative pieces measure 6' x 1' and would add a fun, whimsical touch to any home. Kids in both kindergarten classes decorated their own balloon, and both the balloon and their photo were transferred onto wood. The rest of the piece was hand-painted.

1st Grade: Magnetic Chalkboard/Message BoardKeep your family organized with message board decorated by both 1st grade classes! This "up-cycled" collaborative piece, measuring 2' 4" square, was made from of an old window frame and water bottles. The first graders colored the water bottles and they were then trimmed and melted into flowers. The surface of the surface of the message board is a sheet of metal covered with chalkboard paint,

so you can use chalk and/or magnets to keep your busy schedule on track! The calendar is a decal that won't rub off, so you can erase/fill in your calendar each month; however, the calendar can be pealed off if you prefer to use this piece as just as a drawing surface or magnetic board for photos, messages, etc.

2nd - 3rd Grades:"I Love You As High As I Can Fly" Hand-Painted Bench

These cute birds on a wire were designed by all three classrooms of 2/3 students. The kids drew and colored the birds on paper and then they were traced and hand-painted onto this sweet little bench, which was first painted with blue chalk paint and distressed.

This whimsical bench, measuring 41" wide by 11" deep, is the perfect conversation piece in your entry way or mudroom.

4th Grade: "Shoot for the Moon... even if you miss, you'll end up among the stars" Rocking Chair

Relax and read a book in this whimsical hand-painted rocking chair created by Mrs. LaRoque's and Mr. Halligan's 4th grade students. First, the wood rocking chair was painted with a purple and aqua chalk paint and then distressed.

The moon and owl on the seat was drawn by one 4th grader and then traced and hand-painted onto the chair. Each child designed a star on paper which was then transferred and hand-painted onto the chair. This chair will look great in a bedroom, study or even a classroom! ;)
