Earth Day Celebration
Earth Day will be recognized at Magee with a combination of academic fun and outdoor activities. Each grade level will get to experience an Eco-conscious learning session, as well as the opportunity to get some physical exercise running an obstacle course set up on the lower playground. What a great way to celebrate Earth Day!
Every student will get to participate in the Obstacle Course Fun Run. In addition, all students will be receiving a Participation award at the "Finish Line" of the obstacle course. CLICK HERE to see students enjoying a recent Fun Run at Magee.
Raise funds for campus enhancements. All students have the opportunity to collect sponsorship dollars for their participation in the Fun Run. Funds raised will help fund programs that enhance the learning experience for all students at Magee! Fun Run Sponsor Sheets are due back to Magee by April 29.
Day of the Fun Run: Friday, May 8
The actual Fun Run will occur right in Magee's own backyard. An exciting, temporary obstacle course will be set up on the lower playground for all the students to enjoy.
**Your child should wear sneakers and comfortable clothing on the day of this event. We recommend sending an extra pair of shoes and socks just in case we experience wet conditions.
