When we arrive we will establish a campsite. This is the best place to locate your student-athlete.
Meets are long with track events and field events happening simultaneously.
Meets are almost always run with events in the same order.
Meets have a running clock so it’s often difficult to predict a time at which events will happen.
Considerations
Yes, shoes really are that important! You will need a good pair of training shoes for practices. Spikes are typically worn for meets. Layers, layers, and layers… this is Wisconsin. Your athlete may need pants, long sleeves, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, rain gear, blankets, etc. Many athletes pack a bag with multiple clothing options as the weather notoriously changes.
