Hello! I am so glad your child is in my class! I feel we are the best middle school in Texas!
This year I will be teaching Art I to 7th & 8th graders and Art II to 7th and 8th graders. I am looking forward to another new adventure!
I grew up in San Antonio and I am a graduate of Kilgore College and Baylor University. I have degrees in both History and Art.
I have been married to John Slagle since 1982. John is retired from the DEA and now is the Constable of Precinct #3, Gregg County. We have two sons, both graduates of Kilgore High School. Our oldest, Billy, is an graduate of A & M and SMU Law School, and now has his own law firm in Dallas. Our youngest, Josh, has his own company, Level Arms, and also works at Patterson in Kilgore.
